- Ghadir Khumm
- 18 Dhu al-Hijjah; the Gregorian date shifts each year. The narrative: on the return from the Farewell Pilgrimage, Ali is declared wali at Ghadir Khumm. In Hatay, Adana, and Mersin it is the greatest day: shops close, people visit shrines, hırise is cooked.
- Eid al-Adha and Ramadan
- Field notes and compilations record that the same community keeps them.
- Râs is-Seni (Kuzelle)
- 14 January. A new-year / family day, not an obligatory religious feast.
- Kiddes
- 19 January. A winter day linked to the baptism of Jesus. Fertility customs appear in some villages; they are not treated as universal.
- Hıdrellez / Khidr’s day
- 5–6 May. Crowds at the Samandağ shrine of Khidr are documented. The Anatolian Alevi Khidr fast is not the main practice here.
Yenmiş (2010) also lists Mubahala, Farash, mawlids, and Ashura. Ahl al-Bayt days and an Ashura remembrance exist as well.
